Vehicle size: A Toyota Camry interior holds significantly less volume than a Chevrolet Tahoe. Larger vehicles require more ozone to reach the required concentration in the cabin. Most Dubai providers apply a small size surcharge for large SUVs, vans, and seven-seater vehicles.

AC duct treatment: If the odour is specifically coming from the AC vents (musty smell when the blower runs), the treatment must be done with the AC set to recirculate so ozone cycles through the evaporator and ductwork. This adds 15 to 20 minutes to the session and is typically included in the quoted price by reputable providers, but worth confirming when booking.

Deals platforms like Cobone often list ozone sessions at AED 60 to AED 80. These are stripped-back sessions with basic equipment and limited duration, appropriate for very mild freshening but unlikely to resolve heavy smoke or mould odours.

Air fresheners (AED 20 to AED 80): Mask odours for days to weeks. Do not eliminate the source. No lasting effect.

Describe the odour specifically when you enquire. 'My car smells' is not enough. Tell the provider what the smell is (smoke, mildew, food, pet), how long it has been there, and whether it gets worse with the AC running.
